Jon’s role as Star-Lord in Marvel’s 2021 video game, Guardian of The Galaxy, got him nominated for the British Academy Games Award for Performer in a Leading Role at the 18th BAFTAs.
The Canadian actor has landed himself multiple roles in holiday specials this year. He played Mack in Lane Shefter Bishop’s holiday romance “Christmas on the Rocks” and appeared in the Canadian movie Sappy Holiday as James Lewis, releasing on December 17, 2022.

Jon Mclaren and his wife Nicole Najda have been married since 2015. Jon and Nicole celebrated their seventh anniversary this year in February.
She is currently the manager of Learning Design at the Royal Bank of Canada, based in Mississauga, Ontario. She has been a part of the financial institution for six years since she joined in 2017 as a Licensed Insurance Agent.
As an insurance agent, Nicole completed personalized needs assessments, provided insurance advice and solutions to clients, created a positive client experience, and identified and analyzed risks during client iterations.
She was promoted to the manager of employee development just after a year and later appointed as learning design manager in February 2020.
The manager graduated with honors in Cognitive Science of Language from McMaster University and was part of the McMaster Linguistic Society. She later received her diploma as an ESL language Instructor from the University of Toronto.
At UofT, she taught English to international students from various backgrounds. She planned events for the university touring and developed activities to build a safe community within the university grounds.
Furthermore, Nicole joined Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University Of Toronto to complete her higher studies and got her master’s degree in Curriculum Studies and Teacher Development.
Jon And Nicole Have Been Together For Seven Years
Jon and Nicole are a married couple who are natives of Canada. The lovebirds have a pet dog which they named Jacky.
Although Nicole likes to keep her life private on social media, Jon is very public about his relationship with Nicole, sharing his love and adoration for her on his Instagram.
The couple celebrated their first anniversary in 2016 at Noir, dining in a dark place. They love spending time together and often go out on dates, like when they went to the grape vineyards in Niagra On The Lake, a town in Ontario.
Going on vacations is what this pair of love birds enjoy the most. In 2019, Jon and his partner Nicole went for a couple’s holiday in Cabo San Lucas, experiencing the city life, beaches, and Mexican restaurants.
They previously vacationed in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, chasing the sand, sun, and sea in 2018. Islands and seashores might be the couple’s favorite destinations for a vacation.
Jon went out to celebrate his partner Nicole’s birthday in July 2021. Their celebration lasted for several days doing several activities. The couple had a blast from going on camping, rocking jeans on jeans, and devouring a cake in less than 5 minutes.
Wishing Nicole her birthday, “Multiple days, multiple outings, one very HAPPY Birthday to the poos!” wrote Jon on his Instagram post.
In February 2022, Jon celebrated his seventh anniversary with his beau Nicole. He shared a picture of the couple all bundled up and enjoying the snow in each other’s company.
Jon couldn’t help but make a hilarious but terrible pun in the captions, saying, “Happy Anniversary poos! I’ll skate with you anywhere!”
Jon And Nicole Have A Fur Baby
Jon and his partner Nicole have an adorable fur baby called Jacky Poos. Although the couple has yet to have children, Jacky is no less than a baby.
Often referred to as man’s best friend by Jon, he made sure to appreciate his dogs on International Friendship Day, sharing images of his fur friend on Instagram. They also have another pet, an Argo labradoodle with an Instagram account.
Jacky and Argo look super cute in the above picture posing in front of the Christmas Tree, shared by Jon. He wished “Merry Poochmas & Happy Pawlidays” to his Insta family on behalf of his pooch fam.
Both Jacky and Argo appear on Jon’s social media frequently. He takes his fur babies on vacations as well.
