Jessica Burstein, a photographer who documented the “Law & Order” television franchise, the new Yankee Stadium as it was being built, and the restaurant and celebrity hangout Elaine’s over the course of several extended assignments, passed away on April 11 at her Manhattan home.
She was 76 years old.In 1992, Ms. Burstein was hired as Elaine’s official photographer. Elaine’s was a Manhattan nightclub on the Upper East Side where celebrities and authors congregated in a salon run by the tyrannical proprietor Elaine Kaufman.
